Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is a famous American actress and producer best known for the roles she played as the character of Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist as well as the TV series The Mentalist. She holds a BA in African-American Studies and an MFA from Tisch School of Arts New York University. Aunjanue Ellis is an American actor and producer working in theater, film and television. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 before appearing in independent, mainstream and television series. Her most well-known role was Miranda Shaw on ABC's Quantico as well as on the epic BET series The Book of Negroes for that she was not only rewarded with critical acclaim but also received a host of awards and nominations including the Television Critics Choice Award nomination for Best Actress in a Film. In 1995, she was the first to appear in the role of Ariel on stage on stage in The Tempest. Her stage credits include The Broadway production of Joe Turner's Come and Gone A Winter's Tale Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. With regards to her work in the film industry, her best-known roles include Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express The Help. In her television work, she has been praised for her role as the regular character in ABC's cop drama High Incident.
