Robyn Rihanna Fenty, often referred to as Rihanna by Barbadians is a singer/songwriter. Her biggest hits are Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella and Take a Bow. Young and extremely popular singer-songwriter, she's one of history's best selling performers. Born in Barbados she grew up listening to reggae music, and began singing when she was quite young. Disturbed by the chaos in her family and endless arguments with her parents she immersed her self in music. She before long realized that she wished to become a professional musician. She formed a musical group while still in high school and was able to have take part in an audition for music producer Evan Rodgers who was highly impressed by the teenager's talents. She moved into New York to start a profession as a full-time singer. Rihanna became a huge hit when her debut album hit the shelves. Young people adored the songs that were upbeat, and this inspired Rihanna to make films. Rihanna is a young and talented woman who has become an icon of fashion and teenager icon. Rihanna makes good use of her popularity and is a supporter of many charity causes.
